Each item is carefully inspected for kashrut, quality, and accuracy.
Due to their religious sanctity, these products must be treated with respect and kept in appropriate conditions.


4. Orders and Payments

Orders can be placed directly through the Sofrout.com website.
Accepted payment methods include Stripe, PayPal, Klarna, and PayPlus.
All payments must be made in full before shipment.
Sofrout.com reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in case of payment issues or product unavailability.


5. Shipping and Customs

Orders are shipped from Israel.
Delivery times vary depending on the destination and customs clearance.

  • Products may be returned within 15 days of receipt only if unused and in their original condition.

  • Personalized or custom-made items (such as handwritten parchments) are non-returnable and non-refundable, except in the case of proven defect or halachic invalidity acknowledged by Sofrout.com.

  • The customer must contact us before initiating any return.

  • Refunds, when applicable, will be issued via the same payment method used for the order.

  • Any damage or loss occurring during shipment once the parcel has been dispatched.

  • Misuse or mishandling of sacred items after delivery.

  • Differences in handwriting or script styles between scribes, which are inherent to handcrafted Judaica.

All sacred scrolls and texts (mezuzot, tefillin, Torah scrolls, etc.) must be treated with holiness and respect.
They may not be thrown away or placed in inappropriate locations.
If a sacred text becomes unfit for use (pasul), it must be disposed of respectfully through geniza (ritual burial) according to Jewish law.
